Engineering
The product engineer is nowadays a key figure in all the companies which have understood that the close cooperation with the manufacturers from the very first stages of a project is a winning strategy to face the competition of the countries of recent recent industrialisation. The internationality of ADR Group and the Italian creativity are the secret of ADR competence resulting in competitiveness on the more technologically advanced markets.
Research
The heart of innovation is research. The cooperation of ADR Group study centre with international university institutes, with the most qualified vehicle manufacturers, with the main world regulation boards allow pointing out the features and the functionality of the product.
The international core of ADR Group places it in a privileged position and enriches its know-how in a sector racing towards future.
Experimentation TEST DEPARTMENT
Developing new products and the improving production are only possible through ongoing experimentation of new technical solutions and simulation of the most critical service conditions. The fully renovated ADR test department located in the Uboldo plant allows testing the axles both from structure and braking performance point of view.
Since almost twenty years, the ADR roller test bench is the heart of the lab: thanks to a power of 500 kW it can test axles up to 15 tons. In the course of the years new more and more advanced testing machines as the inertia dynamometer have been introduced. But the final verdict is the field one with the lab vehicles designed in ADR and manufactured in cooperation with the main trailer manufacturers.
Homologation
ADR braking axles are homologated according to the European Community standards. The technical features of ADR products are then recognised in all the Countries belonging to European Community and in those connected to it. Besides thecompliance with the European Community Standards, ADR products are also approved by local regulation boards: i.e. they are approved by the TÜV in Germany and by CEMAGREF and UTAC in France. Having homologated axles allow the manufacturers to safely define the characteristics of the vehicles from the very first stages of the project and to create a product in compliance with the regulations in force in the industrialised Countries, thus aiming at the double goal to standardise your product and to widen your commercial horizons. |
